CNN is reporting today that eBay is dropping the ability of sellers to leave feedback for their buyers.

Many sellers on eBay use the threat of negative feedback to almost force the seller to leave a positive feedback experience on the transaction – in order to protect their own eBay reputation.
Now that buyers are free to say what they want without fear of repercussion, it will be interesting to see what happens to the number of sellers on ebay.
Of course, not all buyers are perfect either. Many win an auction but do not pay for various reasons. Some framework will need to be put in place to keep non-paying buyers off eBay.
